COVID Vaccine for Palm Beach County
Vaccinations have begun in Palm Beach County, pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order 20-315, for long-term care facility staff, persons 65 years of age and older, and healthcare personnel with direct patient contact.
On January 22, 2021 the following update was posted to the Florida of Health’s website:
“Since December 29th, 2020 The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County has received over 200,000 COVID-19 vaccine appointment requests. Due to this incredibly high volume, we are not accepting new appointments at this time as we work as quickly as possible with the Health Care District of Palm Beach County and other community partners to fulfill this waitlist. Please be patient as other vaccination appointment options become available. ”
